Part-Time Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

This role involves delivering exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and maintaining safety and cleanliness within the store. Responsibilities include bagging groceries, ensuring items are handled carefully, assisting customers with loading, and performing basic shelf conditioning. Additional duties encompass informing customers of specials, returning merchandise, gathering shopping carts, cleaning spills and store areas, and handling seasonal merchandise. Associates must understand store layouts, conduct price checks, and adhere to safety and food safety regulations. They are expected to foster a friendly atmosphere, answer product questions, and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. Key skills include effective communication, conflict management, honesty, integrity, and the ability to follow directions and seek help when needed. Experience In Retail Is Preferred But Not Required. Must be capable of supporting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors, with or without reasonable accommodations.
