About the role
Daytime substitute positions available on the WCJC Wharton Campus for the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
- Provide the most effective instruction possible in cosmetology.
- Ensure instruction meets the educational needs of students.
- Work under the supervision of the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements
- Cosmetology Operators license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Certificate of cosmetology instructor training of 500 hours or more if the candidate did not previously hold a Cosmetology Operator Instructors license prior to September 1, 2021.
- 36 months of full-time work experience.
- Pass a criminal background check.
