Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate food items according to standardized recipes and brand specifications.
- Ensure food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation meet Hilton Garden Inn standards.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service preparation as assigned.
- Set up and break down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Comply with all company policies, health department regulations, and safety standards.
- Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position.
- Carry out other related duties as directed by hotel leadership to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Availability to work Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
