Key Responsibilities
- Learn and follow Pelican-specific menu items and processes
- Maintain a valid Food Handlers card
- Read recipes and operate Kitchen Software Displays
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding ticket issues, menu changes, or 86’d items
- Keep workstation safe and clean
- Perform line procedures, recipes, and operations accurately
- Assist team members as needed
- Provide menu and community information to guests
- Adhere to food safety, OSHA, and Pelican standards
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Minimum two years of Back of House experience
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds
- Capable of bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in a loud environment
- Understanding of food safety and cleanliness procedures
Understanding
- Positive attitude and willingness to follow directions
- Must hold an Oregon Food Handler’s Card
