Part-Time Cook

About the role

Join our culinary team as a Cook and make a meaningful difference in residents' lives by preparing nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients. You’ll contribute to Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining experience, known for its high standards in atmosphere and food quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with residents' dietary needs and fulfill special meal requests
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with meal service
• Maintain cleanliness in production and service areas
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards and regulations
• Follow safe work procedures, including injury prevention, food safety, and infection control
• Properly label and date all food in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a commercial restaurant
• Ability to provide high-level culinary service and professional interaction with residents and associates
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while staying organized, flexible, and self-motivated
