Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with the dietary needs of residents and fulfill special meal requests
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with meal service
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards and regulations
• Follow safe work procedures, including injury prevention, food safety, and infection control
• Properly label and date all food in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a commercial restaurant
• Ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction with residents and associates
• Work well in a fast-paced environment; be organized, flexible, and self-motivated
