Part-Time Convenience Store Team Member

Role Overview: This position involves independently displaying and stocking products, processing financial transactions, and ensuring a positive guest experience while adhering to safety and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Handle transactions accurately, including cash, checks, credit cards, and special programs like WIC and loyalty cards.Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking products in designated areas.Manage front-end duties such as operating cash registers, suggestive selling, and maintaining a clean service area.Ensure correct product identification, pricing, and signage; report discrepancies.Promote store programs, specials, and coupons to customers, providing high-quality service.Follow policies on security, cash handling, product handling, and sale of restricted items.Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the department and surrounding areas.Support stocking efforts on the sales floor and back room, and adhere to PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.Assist in other departments as needed based on customer service requirements. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred.Prior retail or related experience is advantageous.Strong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic proficiency. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, stooping, and twisting. The environment involves varied temperatures and possible exposure to outside weather conditions.
