Part-Time Contract Leadership & Soft Skills Instructor
About the role
We are a community college dedicated to enhancing the professional development of our employer clients through customized training programs. Our instructors and subject matter experts are committed to delivering high-quality, tailored training solutions.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and develop training content for various programs including Leadership & Supervisory Skills, Conflict Management, Communicating & Listening, Time Management, Customer Service, and Business Writing.
- Identify supplies and materials required for successful delivery of classes.
- Develop price quotes for clients based on identified requirements.
- Participate in needs analysis meetings with clients to discuss potential content development opportunities.
- Deliver training sessions during business hours, with occasional flexibility for weekends or evenings as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Graduate Degree
- At least 10 years of relevant business experience supporting leadership and/or soft skills best practices
- At least 5 years of training and/or adult education experience
- Willingness to travel to customer locations within PA, NJ, DE areas, overnight if necessary
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of MS Office for email and recordkeeping
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
SkillsProficiency with virtual platforms and AV set up
