About the role
Southern University at Shreveport is establishing a recruitment pool of qualified professionals to teach non-credit courses within the Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver non-credit continuing education and professional development courses.
- Prepare course outlines, instructional materials, and assessments as applicable.
- Facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences for adult learners.
- Maintain subject matter expertise and instructional quality standards.
- Comply with institutional policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the proposed area of instruction.
- Relevant professional experience in the field.
- Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to effectively engage diverse adult learners.
