Part Time - Clinical Nurse (Pre-op/Post-op/PACU)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in pre-op, post-op, PACU, and outpatient recovery settings, with a focus on promoting patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Maintain constant alertness to ensure safety in a safety-sensitive role.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• No prior experience required; less than two years preferred.
• Preferred: Experience in pre/post-op, critical care, or outpatient recovery.
