Part-Time Clinical Nurse

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care across all ages in a 26-bed primary stroke center.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medications, and post-treatment needs.
• Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• License: Active RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• Skills: Critical nursing skills, safety awareness, strong communication, and patient advocacy.
