Part Time Clean Team
About the role
Cub Uptown on Lagoon Ave. is seeking a part-time Clean Team member to ensure safe and clean store conditions. This position involves ongoing customer interaction and provides prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
Responsibilities
- General maintenance and cleanliness of the store
- Maintains proper floor conditions
- Removes and disposes of trash
- Affixes and maintains carts for customers
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures
- Assists with customer questions or requests
Requirements
- Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
- On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Good judgment for handling situations without immediate supervision
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 16 years of age and older
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
Schedule
Variably scheduled weekly shifts, including weekends.
