About the role
First Baptist Church of Remlap is seeking a part-time Children’s Director or Minister to oversee and nurture our children’s ministry.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead weekly children’s activities and Sunday School.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate discipleship programs for children (ages birth–5th grade).
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for children’s ministry events.
- Coordinate special events such as Vacation Bible School, holiday programs, and outreach activities.
- Partner with parents to encourage spiritual growth in children.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all children.
Requirements
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian values.
- Experience in children’s ministry or related fields (preferred but not required).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work part-time (approximately 15–20 hours per week).
- Background check and adherence to our church’s child safety policies.
