Job Description

Right At School Program Manager

Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule: 2:45 - 6pm Mon-Fri

About the Role

You’ll drive the mission by:

  • Exhibiting role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
  • Supporting operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outlining attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensuring program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Continually coaching, fostering respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion, and productivity.
  • Consistently supporting and reporting on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
  • Identifying and mitigating any potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engaging meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Responding promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicating and collaborating regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintaining accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs.
  • Ensuring “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implementing daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • 21 years old or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 240 hours of experience as an assistant child care teacher in a group childcare setting OR at least 240 hours of experience as a licensee or provider of a family childcare center
  • One of the following:
    • 2 non-credit department approved courses in early childhood education
    • 2 courses for credit in early childhood education
    • 48 credits from an institution of higher education with at least 3 credits in early childhood education
    • Certificate from WI Registry indicating level 12 or higher
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
    • Licence from the WI Dept. of Public Instruction to act as a Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education teacher
