About the role
Program Manager Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The role supports the mission of inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
- Safeguard operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
- Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
- Continually coach, foster respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
- Supports safety assurance by consistently supporting and reporting on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Educate and communicate effectively with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
- Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
- Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensure "name to face" attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements
- New Jersey State Requirements: Ability to meet state-specific requirements; First Aid and CPR-in-person; Cleared tuberculosis test.
- Short & Long Term Disability Requirements based on capacity: 6-15 children: High school diploma or GED completed, 6 hours training (in child care), 2 years experience; 16-30 children: High school diploma or GED completed, 6 hours training (in child care), 3 years experience; 31 or more children: High school diploma or GED completed, 6 hours training (in child care), 3 hours (in child program management), 2 years experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED completed.
- Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
- Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
- Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.

Pay
$20.00 - $24.00 (based on education and experience)
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM and 3:10 PM - 6:30 PM
