About the role
As an Educator, you will help drive our mission by organizing and facilitating daily activities that are both educational and enjoyable for children. You will maintain a safe, nurturing environment while modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, and encourage team collaboration and accountability.
- Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
- Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
- Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
- Ability to meet Washington state-specific requirements, including:
- First Aid and CPR certification (in-person).
- Cleared tuberculosis test.
- Food Handlers Card.
- Proof of MMR vaccination.
- 18+ years of age.
- Proof of High School diploma/GED.
- Background check with fingerprinting.
Skills

Pay
$18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on education and experience).
Schedule
- Before School Shift: Monday 6:15 AM–10:30 AM, Tuesday–Friday 6:15 AM–9:00 AM.
- After School Shift: Monday–Friday 3:15 PM–6:00 PM.
