About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Flexible Schedule: Both shifts required for the Educator - substitute positions available for those seeking more flexibility.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Pay

$18-20/hr (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Both shifts required for the Educator - if you're looking for more flexibility, we have substitute positions available. Before School Shift: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 5:45am- 9am and Wed 5:45am-10am
After School: Mon- Fri 3:15pm-6pm
