About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Drive the mission by daily program meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead by example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
• Prioritize safety and joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
• Able to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Passes state-specific requirements.
• Has completed First Aid and CPR training.
• Has a tuberculosis test result.
• Has a Food Handlers Card.
• Has proof of MMR vaccination.
• Is 18 years of age or older.
• Has a high school diploma or GED.

• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
