Part Time Childcare Educator - Randolph Township School District

About the role

Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering a safe, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Pay

$16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
