Part Time Childcare Educator - Orange County

About the Role

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs, focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, and encourage collaboration and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities, ensuring they align with program objectives.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Meet Florida State requirements:
• First Aid and CPR certification (in-person)
• Cleared tuberculosis test
• Proof of MMR
• 18+ years of age
• Proof of High School diploma/GED

Pay

$15.00-$17.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
