Part Time Child Care Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to be on our After School team. The Part Time Child Care Worker’s primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities.

Responsibilities

• Foster youth development in an after school setting
• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities
• Devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their full potential
• Have the chance to have an eternal impact and be a role model to kids in your community
• Average 17-20 hours per week
• Desire to influence, impact and serve the kids and families in our community

Requirements

• At least 17 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Passionate and love working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
