Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Implementing treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT.
  • Monitoring and reporting patient progress and condition changes.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
  • Ensuring compliance with state laws governing occupational therapy practice.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation.
  • Preferred: CPR certification, strong multitasking, independence, and good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
