Part time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and independence.
  • Monitor residents' progress and report updates or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
  • Complete accurate Net Health documentation and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

  • Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both facilities.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Geriatric, assisted living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
