Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor/Coordinator teaches students how to perform basic patient care services directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients through a combination of classroom lecture and the coordination of hands-on clinical experience in a local long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Instruct CNA classes
• Maintain a safe and comprehensive program
• Train students to safely and effectively care for patients
• Evaluate and report on students’ progress
• Create and deliver lecture demonstrations
• Ensure smooth and safe operation of the teaching space

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of two years experience, one year in long term care
• Vermont NATCEP approved
• Ability to instruct classes efficiently
