About the role
A compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential, hands-on care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing mobility support, transfers, and repositioning
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Observing residents and reporting health or behavioral changes
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of living spaces
- Offering emotional support and companionship
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Documenting care accurately and following facility policies and regulations
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the relevant state
- Ability to lift and safely move residents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Respond quickly in emergency situations
