We are seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a senior care facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs and health status.
- Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice and under supervision.
- Provide psycho‑social support and facilitate participation in recreational activities.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and range‑of‑motion exercises.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean environment.
- Document care, medication outcomes, and changes in resident conditions.
Qualifications
- Current CNA and CMA certifications (state‑specific requirements).
- Minimum age of 18 preferred; prior clinical or long‑term care experience a plus.
- Ability to complete annual competency testing and continuing education.
Skills
- Knowledge of age‑appropriate care and safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule
Evening shifts, every other weekend and holiday work, with additional night and weekend differentials.
