Part Time CDL Driver - Frankfort, NY

About the role

HouseSmart Construction’s CDL Driver II will pull Clayton’s manufactured homes while coaching, training, and working hands-on with the Transportation and Site Preparation teams. This role requires an experienced CDL driver who can mentor others and contribute to safe, efficient home delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example by assisting with transportation and site preparation tasks such as tree trimming and route planning.
• Partner with the Transportation team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of customers’ homes.
• Help schedule home transports and ensure each job has the right personnel.
• Master operation of jobsite equipment including the house tug, jadde, platypus, and other specialty tools.
• Anticipate team and project needs, problem-solve alongside leadership, and help deliver a family’s dream home.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• 3+ years of CDL driving experience.
• Experience pulling manufactured homes is a plus.
• Clean driving record with minimal infractions related to DOT inspections, speeding, or handheld device use.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely.
• Positive, coaching attitude and willingness to operate various machines.
• Scheduling experience is a plus.
