Part-time Cashier

About the role

The Newnan retail store, located on Thomas Crossroads, is currently seeking a part-time Retail Associate – Cashier to ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service, assist with purchases and pricing, operate the cash register system, and more.

Responsibilities

• Ensures each guest receives outstanding customer service.
• Aids customers with purchases and pricing.
• Operates the cash register system and applies basic math skills including, but not limited to, basic addition and subtraction of money.
• Understands item pricing and "color of the week."
• Maintains the sales floor and dressing room appearance by organizing shelves, putting away carts, and returning merchandise from the dressing room back to the sales floor.
• Asks customers to "Round-Up" totals in support of our mission and/or scholarship programs.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment, preferred.
• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred.
• Cash handling experience, preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Schedule

Part-time positions average 20-28 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.). Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate – Cashier must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
