Part-time Cashier

About the role

The Phenix City retail store is currently seeking a part-time Retail Associate – Cashier. This position offers an average of 20-25 hours per week, with flexible operating days and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensures outstanding customer service for each guest.
• Aids customers with purchases and pricing.
• Operates the cash register system and applies basic math skills.
• Understands item pricing and “color of the week”.
• Maintains the sales floor and dressing room appearance.
• Asks customers to “Round-Up” totals in support of the organization’s mission.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Works other areas of the store as requested.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Basic math skills.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment, required.
• One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
