Part-Time Cashier

About the role

The Moultrie retail store is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Cashier. This role involves ensuring guests receive outstanding customer service, assisting with purchases and pricing, operating the cash register, maintaining the sales floor, asking customers to "Round-Up," and learning and working in all areas of the retail operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensures each guest receives outstanding customer service.
• Aids customers with purchases and pricing.
• Operates the cash register system and applies basic math skills including, but not limited to, basic addition and subtraction of money.
• Understands item pricing and "color of the week."
• Maintains the sales floor and dressing room appearance by organizing shelves, putting away carts, and returning merchandise from the dressing room back to the sales floor.
• Asks customers to "Round-Up" totals in support of our mission and/or scholarship programs.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), required.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment, is preferred.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
