Part Time Cashier

Cub Lakeville West off Kenwood Trail is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cashier to follow front-end checkout procedures, maintain positive customer relations, and ensure expedient processing of all orders. This role involves ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders accurately, efficiently, and promptly.
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons correctly.
• Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately.
• Assist with customer questions or requests.
• Maintain front-end cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, calculators, etc.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency in memorization, reading, writing, and math.
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment, as direct supervision may not always be available.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions.

Schedule

• Evening availability is ideal.
