Part Time Cashier

Job Overview

Cub Northfield is seeking a part-time cashier to join their team!

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers and maintain positive customer relations
• Perform product scanning and order processing accurately and efficiently
• Handle various forms of payment and coupons appropriately
• Avoid errors with voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Answer customer inquiries and requests
• Contribute to front-end maintenance and cleaning

Job Requirements

• Operate cash register and related equipment
• Stand for extended periods
• Memorize, read, write, and perform basic math
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Make decisions independently when necessary
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Be at least 16 years old

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk on uneven surfaces
• Reach, bend, turn, and perform repetitive motions

Schedule

Varying weekly evening shifts, including weekends.
