Part Time caregiver needed in Fort Myers

About the role

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a fun, compassionate, and dependable caregiver committed to helping an elderly male with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve his highest level of independence. This role supports activities of daily living (ADLs), supervision, and community outings. By applying, you acknowledge this is an independent contractor position, not an employee role.

Pay

$16.00 hourly

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 8:00 PM–10:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Prepare meals and perform light cleaning
• Ensure the individual’s safety and maintain a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events, grocery shopping, and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
