Description
Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver for an intellectually and developmentally disabled individual. The role involves supporting ADLs, facilitating community involvement, and promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
Responsibilities
- Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
- Aiding with personal hygiene tasks
- Meal preparation and light cleaning
- Maintaining a safe living environment
- Facilitating community involvement through social events and outings
- Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization
- Completing daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Passes Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- HHA Certificate
- Proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
