Part-Time Caregiver

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. With our dedicated team and experienced staff, we provide person-centered services that help people build skills, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.

Schedule

Part-time position. Hours: Saturday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Site location: Hurst, TX.

Requirements

• Current driver's license with at least 1 year of driving history without restrictions
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Help people grow, learn, and live well through rewarding, person‑centered care
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Exercise ownership and trust from leaders to do what's right for participants
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist with personal hygiene
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, time‑management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
