The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Worker to support the County Cup program within the Division of Student Services.

About the role

The CCIU is a dynamic educational service agency providing quality programs and services to enhance the lives of students, educators, and community members. The position is based in various County Cup locations throughout Chester County.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation and serving of quantity and quality food and observe portion control methods.
  • Reheat foods using microwaves and other devices.
  • Follow HACCP (Food Safety Plan) procedures, maintain sanitary conditions, and complete temperature recordings.
  • Operate a point of sale (P.O.S.) computerized screen, count money, and complete deposit slips and associated paperwork.
  • Perform limited food purchasing and follow proper procedures for receiving and storing all food and supplies.
  • Able to lift between 20 to 35 lbs. consistently on a daily basis and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances required prior to hire.
  • PA school personnel health form required prior to hire.
  • Must be able to lift between 20 to 35 lbs. consistently on a daily basis and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

Schedule
