Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone and in person, communicating clearly and adapting styles to suit.
• Manage customer flow using systems like Appointments/Customers/Point of Sale to deliver 5-star customer experiences.
• Use iPad tools to research and enthusiastically communicate information to customers.
• Proactively address customer concerns with confidence, escalating when necessary.
• Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles, favorites, and fitting rooms.
• Build relationships by welcoming customers, asking questions, and understanding their needs.
• Strive to identify the perfect gown/dress in the first three try-ons.
• Set future appointments aligning to customer needs and follow up to remind them.
• Communicate the importance of alterations and promote personalization options.
• Partner with Alterations Specialists to set up appointments and ensure proper measurements.
• Achieve a 80% conversion rate of brides sold to Alterations appointments.
• Maintain store standards, including a clean, organized, and promotional-ready environment.
• Report any broken or damaged equipment to store management.
• Maintain high dress code standards.
• Offer David’s Bridal loyalty and partners program to support and promote one-stop shopping for all life events.
• Analyze and make decisions promptly, responding to customer questions and providing product/service information.
• Support the store team in achieving sales, service, and operational goals.
• Accurately clock in and out for shifts, breaks, and meals.
• Follow all loss prevention and security policies.
• Develop self and others by focusing on own development, celebrating successes, sharing expertise, and accepting coaching and feedback.
• Execute new processes, behaviors, contests, and programs as assigned.
• Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Passionately enthusiastic, endlessly curious, and customer obsessed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Good vision, including up close and at a distance, as well as peripheral vision and depth perception.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Computer literacy, particularly with POS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously.
• Knowledge of bridal gown/fashion trends.

Pay

The standard base pay range for this role is posted at a minimum and maximum rate. The starting rate of pay offered will vary based on factors including position offered, location, training, and experience, and internal equity.
