Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm, using all systems to manage customer flow.
- Research and communicate product information to customers using iPad tools.
- Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles and preparing fitting rooms.
- Build relationships with customers, identifying their needs and preferences.
- Ensure proper measurements are taken and enter them into events to minimize returns and exchanges.
- Maintain a clean and organized store to provide a flawless shopping experience.
- Communicate the importance of alterations and promote personalization services.
- Achieve sales goals and productivity by following the 5-Step Selling Process.
- Support cash wrap behaviors and processes accurately.
- Manage special order dresses and achieve platform conversion goals.
- Set up and manage appointments for the complete wedding party, including bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, and flower girl.
- Become a trusted advisor by completing training and building product knowledge.
- Exceed sales targets to become a Circle of Excellence member.
- Execute new processes and behaviors as assigned.
- Perform duties as assigned by store management.
- Accurately clock in and out for shifts, breaks, and meals.
- Follow loss prevention and security policies.
- Complete required myLearning courses and remain current with curriculum.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment.
- Prior experience with computerized POS systems is preferred.
Qualifications
- Passionately enthusiastic, endlessly curious, and customer obsessed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of bridal fashion trends and the ability to recommend products.
