About the role

As a Branch Ambassador at Capital One you are the face of an exceptional, human‑centric banking experience. You blend friendly, attentive hospitality with cutting‑edge digital innovation, helping clients navigate mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments while building relationships that support their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Guardian of Trust & Accuracy: Execute high‑volume cash transactions—including deposits, withdrawals, and complex negotiable instrument processing—with 100% accuracy while maintaining compliance with security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
• Digital Concierge: Educate clients on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments to enhance convenience and security.
• First‑Line Consultant: Actively listen to uncover personal or business goals and match clients with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Hospitality Lead: Greet customers, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and balance high‑volume efficiency with community‑focused service.
• Support surrounding branches within a 50‑mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the broader region.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance; lift up to 25 lb and stand or move for extended periods.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer‑service experience.
• Minimum 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Strong hospitality instincts and ability to make people feel welcome.
• Tech fluency – early adopter of apps and digital tools, with a passion for teaching others.
• Precision and attention to detail in transaction processing.
• Adaptability to a fluid workspace, moving between cash drawers and digital demos.
• Curiosity and a drive to improve the customer journey.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree and 2 + years of retail or customer‑facing experience.
• Preferred: Proficiency in G‑Suite and strong written/oral communication skills.

Pay

Garland, TX: $43,680 per year (full‑time). Candidates hired in other locations will receive the salary range applicable to that location.

Schedule

Flexible schedule, including weekends; hours and days may change based on business needs. Ability to adapt to schedule adjustments with reasonable notice, attend required training sessions on varying schedules, and support branches within a 50‑mile radius.
