Part Time Book Store Clerk I - $15 to $17 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Restock shelves
• Service customers face to face
• Operate cash register and credit card machine
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, tape gun)
• Sort books and place in appropriate locations
• Work safely around moving equipment
• Work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year
• Stand/walk on concrete floors for entire shift
• Fulfill donations
• Prepare work for community events
• Adhere to facility hours, including overtime and weekends during holidays and special events (floating hours may vary each week)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills
• Literacy and math skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude
• Excellent attendance record

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Pay

Starting salary: $15 - $17 an hour
