Part-Time Board Operator

Responsibilities

• Operating the broadcast console and automation
• Monitoring audio quality
• Following programming logs
• Assisting on-air talent during live broadcasts
• Recording audio
• Cooking with staff and sales
• Ensuring all programming airs accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Basic computer skills and an interest in radio broadcasting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and fill-in shifts as needed
• Previous radio or audio production experience (training available for the right candidate)

Physical Requirements

• Sit or stand for extended periods
• Perform frequent computer and keyboard use
• Bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined spaces with equipment
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Handle technical components and read screens or documentation
• Travel between work areas or locations as needed
