Part Time Bistro Host/Hostess

Job Summary

As a Host/Hostess at One Bistro, you’ll be the face of the guest experience and the first impression that sets the tone for an exceptional visit. Located inside the award-winning Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Norwood, MA, One Bistro is known for delivering outstanding hospitality in a welcoming, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and seating guests- making sure to have polite conversation when seating
• Taking and maintaining reservations and the guest information database on the Open Table reservation system
• Taking to go & room service orders
• Cleaning and maintaining all menus
• Updating specials on our website, typing and printing special sheets
• Be able to remain focused and on task during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a fast-paced restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment required
• Must be comfortable using Open Table, Word and WordPress for updating specials
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to work with calm urgency in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong multitasking skills
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Works carefully and mindfully to prevent breakage and ensure a safe, organized workspace

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $16.50 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
