Restaurant Hostess/Host (Part-Time)

About the role

As a warm and welcoming Host/Hostess, you are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to manage reservations and guest flow contribute to a seamless and memorable visit that reflects the excellence of our brand.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel’s reservation system.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations.
• Cook up to 70,000 square feet of meeting space.

• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.

• Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant.

Pay

The wage for this position is $28.40.

Schedule
