Requirements

• Communication: Clear, professional communication skills to interact with guests, teammates, and management. Ability to listen, confirm orders, and respond to guest needs promptly.
• Technical Skills: Comfort using POS systems, basic computer applications, and beverage/food preparation equipment. Ability to learn and follow Marriott brand standards.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Ability to follow all food-handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines, including proper labeling, temperature control, and cleanliness standards. Food Safety Certification required.
• Reliability & Availability: Consistent weekend availability required. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently during slower periods and collaboratively during peak times.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including order taking, beverage preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest interaction.
• Cash Handling: Ability to accurately process payments, balance a cash drawer, and follow established financial control procedures.
• Professional Appearance: Maintains a clean, polished, professional appearance in accordance with hotel and brand grooming standards.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, move throughout the Bistro and lobby areas, and perform repetitive tasks such as beverage preparation.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff, front desk, and management to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Schedule

This is a part-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Scheduled days off generally fall on weekdays, typically midweek, to support consistent weekend coverage.
