About the role

Come join Mystic Lake Casino Hotel as our Hotel Bell Person! In this opportunity you will greet guests upon arrival and provide prompt assistance with luggage. While opening the doors to our premier casino resort and entertainment destination you will be the first warm welcome every guest has in their memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide prompt assistance with luggage.
• Open doors and may escort guests to the registration area.
• Provide guests with information about casino and hotel services, restaurants, and various amenities and answer guest inquiries.
• Inspect hotel rooms with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with secure storage and retrieval of luggage, packages, coats, hats, and other items.
• Maintain control log of the movement of luggage and other items.
• Operate P.O.S. register system for processing scooter and wheelchair transactions.
• Prepare cash register shift reports, reconciliation, and cash counts.
• Familiarize guests with the hotel’s safety features and any in-room amenities.
• Clean and maintain work area and applicable equipment.
• Process and deliver guest laundry.
• Perform tour bus load in/load out duties as required.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and/or experience in hospitality or related field to equal one year.
• Ability to pass basic math skills test.
• Working knowledge of point of sales and computer operations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and effectively.

Schedule

This position will work on-call hours, primarily weekend needs.
