Part Time - Behavioral Health - Research Assistant

Job Description And Position Requirements

Investigators at Penn State New Kensington are seeking applicants for part-time job of Research Assistant. The successful candidate will support research on domestic violence and substance use disorders.

Job Duties

• Conducting comprehensive literature reviews based on specified analytical criteria.
• Summarizing, synthesizing, and identifying patterns across relevant studies.
• Aiding in the preparation and development of scholarly manuscripts.
• Performing additional research-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently and act ethically with research subjects and data.
• Fluency in English language writing, speaking, and comprehension.
• The ability to collaborate with others in a positive and productive way.
• Must (a) pass and maintain CITI training status.
• (Preferred) Undergraduate degree in health sciences, public health, or related field.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 5 to 10 hours per week.

Pay

The starting rate for this job is $15.00/week.
