Part Time Before and After Site Sub Program Manager (Yuma)
About the role
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after-school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The role involves managing a Before and After School site in the Yuma School District.
Responsibilities
- Exhibits role model qualities, ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
- Supports operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
- Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively.
- Continually coaches, fosters respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
- Consistently supports and reports on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks within the program environment.
- Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
- Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support the outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
- Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements
- Must provide college transcripts with a minimum of 24 credits of early childhood education.
- Must be able to complete state CPR/first aid training, provide a negative TB test, complete mandated reporter training, and hold a valid Arizona fingerprint card.
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- One year of supervisor/management experience.
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED.
- Must reside locally within the surrounding area of the Yuma area schools.
Qualifications
- Must provide college transcripts with a minimum of 6 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting.
- Must have one year of experience managing/supervising employees.
- Must have proof of High School diploma/GED.
Skills
- Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.

Pay
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on education, experience)
Schedule
Split Shift Availability- Before and/or After School part-time position- Before School- 6:15 am-8:40 am AND After School from 1:45 pm-6:00 pm (Mondays) and 3:15 pm-6:00 pm (Tuesday-Friday)
