Part-Time Barista

About the role

This position involves preparing coffee shop beverages and food, operating a cash register, and providing courteous customer service. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe environment, stocking and rotating merchandise, and ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food items according to standards and procedures.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and handle transactions efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels, rotate products, and organize displays.
• Communicate store programs, promotions, and customer services effectively.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the work area.
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed and follow safety and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail or related fields is a plus.

Skills

• Excellent verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments.
