Part-Time Barista

This role involves preparing coffee shop beverages and food items, operating the cash register, and providing courteous customer service. Key responsibilities include brewing and blending beverages, handling food prep according to procedures, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards, and managing product stock and displays. Additional duties encompass operating checkout equipment, communicating store programs and promotions, maintaining a clean environment, and adhering to safety, food safety, and security policies. Flexibility to assist other departments and perform additional tasks as needed is expected. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), with at least one year of retail or related experience recommended. Strong verbal communication, customer service, organizational skills, and basic literacy and arithmetic are required. Physical demands involve lifting up to 30 pounds frequently, occasional lifting of 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and exposure to varied temperatures and environmental conditions.
