Part Time Bakery Clerk

About the role

Cub Plymouth on Vicksburg Lane is seeking a part-time Bakery Wrapper to join their team. Bakery wrappers are responsible for preparing, wrapping, stocking, and providing customer service support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and wrap bakery products
• Stock and rotate bakery products
• Perform department clean-up
• Aid in department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer inquiries and requests

Requirements

• Ability to operate bakery equipment (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, racks, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
• On-going customer interaction and prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment for handling situations without immediate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Write identifying information and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Capable of working various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Walk on uneven ground
• Reach, bend, turn, perform repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
